Your first Sunday can feel familiar before you ever walk through the doors.

Whether you are just starting your faith journey or looking for a place to connect and grow, we hope that Waleska United Methodist Church can be that place for you. We want your first visit to Waleska United Methodist Church to feel simple, comfortable, and welcoming. There is a place for you here.

What worship is like

Our worship is traditional but relaxed. A typical service includes hymns, music from our choir and other musicians, Scripture, prayer, a Children’s Message, and a sermon that connects the Christian faith with everyday life. We celebrate Holy Communion once a month, and all who seek to follow Christ are welcome at the table.

When and Where

Worship begins every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary and lasts about one hour. We are located at 7340 Reinhardt College Parkway on the beautiful campus of Reinhardt University.

Parking and Entrance

Park in the large parking lot beside the church and enter through the front Sanctuary doors. Greeters and ushers will be available to welcome you, help you find a seat, or answer any questions. Our building is accessible, and we are glad to help with any mobility or accessibility needs.

Children on Sunday mornings

Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers, and nursery is available before worship begins. Children of all ages are welcomed and valued in the Sanctuary. After the Children’s Message, children ages 2 through fourth grade may attend Children’s Church for a Bible lesson, creative activities, and worship designed especially for them. Children are also always welcome to remain with their families for the entire service
