Faith in action
“Guided by faith, we seek to be the visible presence of Jesus in our community, spreading love and compassion one act at a time.”
At Waleska United Methodist Church, outreach is how we live out our love for God and neighbor. Through service, generosity, and community partnerships, we respond to practical needs and share the hope of Christ throughout Waleska and beyond.

- We help provide food through Never Alone distributions, MUST Ministries summer lunches, and other events.
- We work with local service organizations to help our children, house and feed the homeless, senior care programs, and victims of family violence.
- We support children, families, and educators through our partnership with R.M. Moore Elementary School and Back to School Blessings.
- We serve alongside Reinhardt University, Murphy-Harpst Children’s Centers, and other local and United Methodist organizations.
- Our Great Day of Service and seasonal projects bring people of all ages together to make a difference in service projects.
- There is a place for everyone to serve joyfully. You might pack food, shop for a child, prepare a meal, work on a service project, give financially, or pray for our neighbors and ministry partners. You do not have to be a member of Waleska UMC to participate.
Come serve with us as we share the love and compassion of Jesus, one act at a time.
